Yes, there was a long break after I started this project. Such is my life.
I built the previous blog and the main site with Sparkle. While it very easily made a pretty site, it was not a smooth process to make or maintain a blog, so I avoided it. However, it always bugged me.
Eventually, I forced myself to install WordPress and get it to operate a new blog in parallel with Sparkle running the main site. It took several hours to get WordPress to function with the site’s server settings, but I finally found a balance between versions that worked. I just need to keep tweaking the settings to improve security and functionality while getting it to appear more like I hope for it to be; however, the posting process is so much easier now, especially with a phone app that allows me to post on the go.
I hope this will encourage me to post more often, but I doubt anyone’s paying attention. Even if it is just me talking to myself, at least I get to talk to someone.
