Fate Waits For No One

In a galaxy owned by a race of narcissistic warmongers known as the p’tahians, the residents of Terra go about their daily routines blissfully ignorant of the alien pirates smuggling weapons onto their planet.

As a representative of the Dragon Corps, the universal law enforcement agency, Lyon is on a covert mission behind enemy lines for a different reason: Terra is believed to only exist in myth.

When Lyon uncovers signs that someone is transporting illegal weapons onto an undeveloped planet in restricted space, he calls for backup. Lyon’s new team of non-volunteers hopes to quietly shut down the operation before the criminals draw the p’tahian’s unmitigated wrath, which would bring about the immediate extinction of all life on Terra.

The resulting investigation unravels connections between street gangs, a psychic grandmother, classified military projects, a criminal syndicate, renegade traitors, federal agents, mythology, secret charters and one terran who should be dead. This mildly dysfunctional band of reluctant protectors is soon stuck between saving the planet and starting an intergalactic war.
